Hi all, my name is Lauren Frazier-Silva and I am the founder of Silvermoon Entertainment. Before Silvermoon, I was one of the founders of Ramen VR, known for the VR MMO Zenith: Nexus, and the Unreal dev tool Aura.

What is The Night Market?

The Night Market is a single-location supernatural narrative adventure for PC and console. The player explores a market that appears in their city once a year — a place that can return anything that was lost. Everyone there is looking for something. So is she. The difference is that she's been here before, and she chose to forget why. It exists in the same universe as Enclave, but is a standalone story.

The Night Market is the story of Simone, a young woman who is driven by an ache she cannot name to visit a supernatural night market. As she talks to the vendors, she begins to piece together the story of her past, and the reason she keeps coming back to this place. The Night Market is a story about loss, memory, and the things we choose to forget. One thing I'm particularly excited about is that I will be trying out Unreal's MetaHuman and LiveLink technologies to provide powerful character performances by a roster of professional actors. In many ways, it will be closer to a minimalist stage production than to a traditional game.

Why are you building this? What happened to Enclave?

The Night Market is Silvermoon Entertainment's first shipped title. Its purpose is threefold: to build foundational systems that I will need for Enclave in Unreal Engine, to establish a creative voice before Enclave ships, and to grow an audience of narrative game players who will follow the studio to its debut RPG.
